Tools Derived from Bisazza's Experience
The efforts of skilled and expert professionals alone are not enough to ensure ideal results when setting Bisazza mosaics. Special materials and tools are needed. With this in mind, combining the results of our own analysis and research with feedback from Installers, we have formulated a series of special products and designed a number of tools intended specifically to facilitate the process of mosaic tiling and optimize end results.
The Bisazza Installation Kit, which is comprised of two boxes - A and B - is intended for use in residential interiors. The kit contains everything needed to install 22.28 square feet of 20x20 mm mosaic. Box A, contains one 11 lbs bag of Start setting material, and one 4 lbs container of Up latex to be mixed with the Start powder; in box B, one tub of Fillgel epoxy grout; one 2 litre container of Shine detergent, ready to use (no diluting required); one open-pore cellulose sponge, one polyester felt pad, for cleaning; one pair of nitrile gloves.
These same products are available in bigger packs for tile Installers working on large projects.
